Safety Procedures for Elevator

1. Always wear helmet and gloves while using the lift.


2. Ask your supervisor for proper instruction on how to operate the lifter.
3. Nobody is allowed to stand under the lifter.
4. Do not put your hand in the edge of the side plate.
5. Do not overload the lifter, it is absulutely prohibited.
6. You should stop the operation when the chain is stuck.
7. The load should be kept level at all times to prevent from slipping from the lifter.
8. The should be kept as close to the the ground as possible.
9. Personnel should not ride on the lift, nor place themselves in, under, or directly adjacent to the
lifting area.
10. Do not lift a load higher than neccessary or suspended loads unattended.
11. Keep other personnel far enough away from the lifter to avoid injuries in the event of unexpected
load release.
12. The power control should be in active position and disconect the power source before opening any
enclosure of the lifter.
