any individuals of society is called social
control.

 To adapt unusual social behaviour other then on going
social patterns is called Social deviation.
 Deviation OR Deviance an action or behaviour that
violates social norms examples robbery, theft and murder
Types of social deviance:
1.Formal deviance: includes criminal violation of enacted
laws examples robbery, theft and murder
2.Informal deviance: our bad habits which we are perform for
personal comfort.
example: gazing others, laughing on others and hurts others
Methods of social control:
1.Formal social control: It is a legal rules regulations or
documented control against deviant social behaviour of
the society.
Example: to control murder
2.Informal social control: Discussion or warnings,
usually not documented to control criminal violation of
enacted laws
The reaction of an individuals and groups that bring
about conformity to norms and laws
example: motivation, threat
 School are reflection of the society.
 Teacher are most important person for educating their students of the
society and to produced good citizens.
Role of school and teacher in developing social control in many ways:
To teach rules regulations or manners
Role play social situations
Problem solving
Watching video
Teamwork
Introduce responsibility of his/her society
Character building and moral development
