The 10 Word Language - Sij

Conlang

Hello. I have decided to challenge myself with a conlang. Therefore, I have

decide to come up with Sij, the 10 word (or at least morpheme) language. I
believe this is called an Oligosynthetic language. Sij means Language. 10
words does not mean that there aren't hundreds of compound words. It only
means that the words are made from the 10 morphemes.

man - ka /kɑ/
earth - la /lɑ/
love - vo /vo/
activity - mo /mo/
life - nu /nu/
negation - ru /ɾu/
water - fe /fe/
character - je /ʒe/
object - gi /gi/
thought - si /si/

These combine together to make more words. The main word of a compound
word comes first, and keeps it's whole syllable. The second word, sometimes
not as important, sometimes equally important, loses the vowel and attaches
it's consonant to the end. This is possible because all 10 words begin in
separate consonants.

woman = kar (man not)

language = sij (text presence)
animal = lan (earth life)
fish = fen (water life)

If a compound word and one of the 10 original morphemes connect, they

simply connect.

fish love = fenvo (water life + love)

It's the same for combining two compound words.

animal language = lansij

Many things are still being worked out. Verbs are made with (word) + activity.
Not sure how to make adjectives or pronouns. It is definitely a challenge.

Later, I will make a script. Not sure whether it's a logographic or a syllabary XD

Sounds like an awesome feat! As we all know, Vahn is the main
Oligosynthetic conlang 'round here, but Waj also does so using
letters with loose meanings - Sij could be Waj's li'l cousin xP
It's going to have its own interesting challenges - believe me. Yours is
extremely strict, so be careful creating that vocab!

Thanks! I kept Vahn in mind when creating this. The hardest
challenge will probably be sticking strictly to the 10 words, no
addition morphemes to show plurality or tense or anything. Also, Sij
and Waj seem to go nicely together :)

Vowels don't seem to matter.
