Props List
Props I will use:

Stopwatch – This will be the “time machine” so the main characters will use this to get back to the present
as well as going to the medieval times.
Knight Costumes – This will be the outfit of the two main characters when they arrive into the Medieval
times, this will include “armour” and “swords”.
Wizard Costume – This will be the outfit of the wizard in my production when the two main characters
appear, the wizard will arrive with that on, this will include a “magical robe”, a fake beard and a wand.

Actor Auditions

The Main Character – The Main Character is for now a not decided gender as I believe it doesn’t really
make a difference about what gender they are.
Neighbour - The Neighbour is for now a not decided gender as I believe it doesn’t really make a difference
about what gender they are.

Wizard – The Character of the wizard is definitely going to be a man but the actor could be either because
they’ll be wearing a beard.

Script

Shows sunrise and pans around the sky and the surroundings, an alarm loudly sounds and the
screen cuts to a teenage boy waking up, he turns off his alarm, wipes his eyes and yawns
widely. He gets out of bed and it cuts to him being dressed in normal everyday clothes
instead of pyjamas. We hear a knock at the door and he runs down the stairs as the camera
follows him down. He opens the door and a teenage girl is stood there smiling and waving, he
waves back and we cut the cameras to us being behind the girl, we follow them indoors as we
run through the house to the shed out the other side of the house. They arrive at the shed and
they go inside the shed. The boy puts his finger up and looks at the girl asking her to wait, we
then cut to having the camera be behind a watch not in focus, the boy runs in the room with
the watch and grabs the watch and runs out again. We cut to the girl fiddling with tools in the
shed when he runs back into the shed. He puts his hand out and shows the watch, they both
look in awe. He puts the watch on his arm and puts his hand on top of the watch and she puts
her hand on top of his. The camera looks around at both of their faces as they look super
happy. With her other hand she pulls the pin out of the watch and rewinds it back a few digits
and pushes the pin in again. A bright light appears and their faces disappear into the light.
When the light goes away, a castle is seen in the near background, the camera pans around

360 degrees to the castle again where the two characters are stood looking happy and then the
camera pans around again and when we see them they are dressed as knights. They look at
each other and get into a fighting stance. They both gently start swinging at each other with
the swords. They attack each other 5 times each. The camera goes behind someone, there’s a
character stood there in a magical sort of costume like a wizard. He approaches the two
teenagers slowly almost with a limp. The camera turns around to having the teenagers on the
left and the wizard on the right, he is now holding the watch in his hand. The teenagers point
at the watch and fold their arms and the wizard wags his finger, he gets out a wand and waves
it then he magically disappears. The camera shows them standing side by side, they look at
each other and look confused. They run past the camera and it cuts to them running through a
forest from behind. They frantically look from side to side when running. They stop and are
out of breath, the girl looks to her right and taps on the boy’s shoulder. The camera then cuts
to being behind the watch not in focus. She then points at the ring and they run towards it.
When they are about half way, the camera moves to watching them from the side then the
wizard appears in front of them once more. He has it in his hand once more. The two
teenagers beg to have the watch back, the wizard smiles and returns the watch with his hand
spread out to them. The boy grabs it and they wave to the wizard as the wizard waves back to
them. The boy puts his hand on the watch and the two teenagers hold hands and the light
appears once more and makes their faces disappear. They appear in the garden once more and
they hug and the girl waves and walks away. The boy then walks towards the camera and
touches the watch again as his face fades into the brightness.
