Location Recces

Location – Ryeish Green

This is a good location as it is fairly
empty with people and is what I
needed for my scene, a bench and
enough space for a dramatic date
scene.
 Location – Falmouth Road, Reading
This is a good location for my production as
it is a straight road so it’s easier to follow
the character, it’s also quite quiet so it will
be reasonably efficient to film.

Location – My house (19 Mortimer Close)

This is the best location for me to film as it is
my house and I need the actor to be in a
controlled environment and I know my way
round my house. Seeing as I am the actor it
also makes sense that I should film here.

Location – Welcome to Reading sign

( Shinfield Road, Reading)
This is the location I need as it is
exactly what I need to see, as a bonus
I can also use it to film traffic right
beside it in a sort of pan.

Clearances
Due to me mostly using public parks and roads or inside my house, I
haven’t needed any clearances.

Contingency Plan

If I cannot film everything on the date of the 20th + 21st of April 2021, then I will need to
arrange the next filming date really carefully as I have to work on the weekends, Joe (A
camera operator) has every other week off from work, Jay (A camera operator) cannot do
before about 3 PM and Willow (Jenny) is busy most days of the week except Wednesday and
Friday.

 Auditions

Rob Evans (Seb) – Rob is a good choice to play Seb because he is an awkward
teenager, he’s also quite good at acting and would be a really good contrast to
the date character, Jenny.

Willow Hargreaves (Jenny) – Willow is a good choice to play Jenny as she is a

clingy individual just like the character of Jenny and she is also really good at
acting visually and audially.
