1. Why do some students do plagiarize?


Some students do plagiarize to achieve a good grade and maybe can save their
time intially , like to buy essays of the internet
2. How would you describe the writer’s personal feelings about people who plagiarize?
What makes you say that?
The writers feel disappointed when the students was discovered to have
plagiarized the essay, because can make several negative impacts, the writers
thinks that can make damages classroom relationship. It also violates school policies
and prevents students from realizing their own potential, and many students will lose out
on their education.
I say that because, the writers very against with plagiarism, like on paragraph 1
and 2, the writers explain the impact if student do plagiarize.
3. What are the negative effects of plagiarizing on students’ learning skills?
The students will not develop their own writing and critical thinking skills. As the
result, they may not be prepared to pass their final exams. Plagiarizing is harmful to a
student’s own academic success.
4. Do you agree or disagree with the writer? Write your opinion and reason below.
I agree with the writer’s opinion, because with plagiarism, we tend to be lazy because we
always rely on other people's work to plagiarize. Not only that, plagiarism activities can
also hinder someone's creativity because they never channel or express their talents.
Consequently, we never want to learn and always feel hesitant to rely on our own
abilities.
5. Did the writer influence your position? If so, which point influenced you the most?
Yes, did it. The point influenced me on body paragraph 3. The effects when the students
do plagiarism. The students will not develop their own writing and critical skills.
As the result, they may not be prepared to pass their final exams. Plagiarizing is harmful to a
student’s own academic success.

In fact, many students at community colleges tend to have busy schedules making it
difficult to complete assignments on time. so that to make it more practical, they took the
initiative to buy essays from the internet. however, this is not a solution. it would be nice,
if you could negotiate the assignment collection schedule with their instructor. because it
becomes unfair with other students who struggle to finish their own essays. if students
plagiarize, students will not develop their own critical and writing skills which can be
dangerous to the student's own academic success.
5. How many reasons has the writer restated in the conclusion? Write the reasons.
three reasons presented by the author in the conclusion, among others, plagiarism
destroys class relations. it also violates school policy and prevents students from realizing
