INTRODUCTION
In this project, we are told to make a report about a sole proprietorship business which
is stationary. A sole proprietorship is a business that can be owned and controlled by an
individual, a company or a limited liability partnership. They are easy to form and the owner
can enjoy sole control of the business. The owner can make 100% all of the decision in the
business. As an owner, I am choosing this type of business because I am aware of need and
demand for stationeries and school stuff in this area. We opened our business in Meru, Klang
which is a strategic location for our business operated.In my premise, we are selling various
type of stationery, exercise books, reference books, photostat services, laminated services,
school bag, laptop accessories and more.

I would like to conclude that accounting is important in business because accounting
keep us organize. Accounting plays a vital role in running a business because it helps you
track income and expenditures, ensure statutory compliance, and provide investors,
management, and government with quantitative financial information which can be used in
making business decisions. There are three key financial statements generated by our records
which are the income statement provides you with information about the profit and loss, the
balance sheet gives you a clear picture on the financial position of your business on a
particular date and the cash flow statement is a bridge between the income statement and
balance sheet and reports the cash generated and spent during a specific period of time.
