1. Spot the mistakes in these sentences. Try to correct them.

2. Match an explanation of the correction with each sentence.

✓ Some words are plural but they look singular because they don’t have an -s in
the end. In this sentence, the word is plural but we treat it as singular.
✓ In this sentence, there is a noun where there should be an adjective, we also
made a mistake with plural and singular.
✓ In this sentence, we wrote a verb in the past form where it should be infinitive
because it follows “used to”
✓ In this sentence, we wrote a sentence in the present simple where it should be
the future (will)
✓ In this sentence, we used the wrong adjective, confusing the meaning when we
