You will work in an enthusiastic and relatively young team within a department of about 40 engineers in
various disciplines. We are working on projects with solutions in “power distribution” including

You are experienced in your field and as a technical expert responsible for the development of the
technical designs of medium voltage distributors. The emphasis will be on the realization of projects
and to a lesser extent on quotation processes.

As an engineer you have close contact with the client and with (international) colleagues. The basic
design of the dividers will be set up by you. The detailed engineering will then be worked out in the
factory under your responsibility. You advise your customers in the technical field and coordinate the
technical design with the customer within a project, taking into account the commercial impact.

The short lead times and high requirements of the customers ensure a lot of dynamism
during the realization of the projects.
Activities within your position include:
Convert technical requirements from the specifications to a suitable switchboard basic
design

Review technical basic and detailed designs and coordinate interfaces Plan and assess

commercial impact of design choices Managing and supervising fellow engineers within the

project team

Liaising proactively with the customer, factory, and sales and quotation team

Organizing and attending factory tests (FAT) with the customer Providing support from the office

during assembly and commissioning If necessary, support on location at the customer during

realization

About you
Completed HBO / TU education in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of work experience as a

medium voltage engineer

Knowledge of electrical distributors, distribution boards, transformers and electrical

protections

Practical experience with installing an electrical installation (advise in practice: when setting up the
installation, connecting cables, interfaces with the customer, etc.)

You are creative and able to convey ideas and make people enthusiastic

Accurate, critical, flexible work attitude, practical and result-oriented You enjoy performing well

in a hectic environment
