what each person requires.
•There is only one text for each person.
•You should be able to finish this exercise in approximately 10 minutes.
•There are 5 questions and for each question you get one mark.

Laura is looking for a book for her grandson’s fifth birthday present. Preferably,

Moira’s 14-year-old daughter loves science fiction videos. Moira wants to

Fiona, like everyone in her family, is very interested in the cinema and enjoys
8 reading about it. She wants a book that will give her all the gossip about film
stars past and present.

James, who is 15, is looking for something to pass the time on a long plane
9 journey. He’d like to read an adventure story which brings a period of history to
life.

Gerry likes mystery stories which are full of suspense and excitement. He’d
