After attending and studying the lecture, 4th grade English language students will correctly make simple
requests about borrowing clothes by using “can-could” and “imperatives.”

 Presentation covering the unit as a general revision with direct teaching method.
 Role-play activity about simple requests using “imperatives” and “can-could” to improve speaking and

grammar
Group Learning Activities Students will have a conversation about weather and

Summary
Students will recognize the required vocabulary about clothes and weather, make simple requests about
borrowing, use the learned vocabulary and grammar in speaking, and identify the learned vocabulary and
grammar in listening.
Measurement & Evaluation
As the third week will be the last week of this unit, students will take an exam covering all topics of the unit
“My Clothes” on Google Forms as assessment at the end of the lectures.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Students will individually take an exam about the unit on
Individual Performance Google Forms.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for The teacher will give immediate feedback after each group
Group Performance finishes their role-play activity.
Homework (optional)
Explanation
The exam will include multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, and short answers about the unit, and it will
take place at the computer lab.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
After the teacher presents the previous weeks’ content of the unit, and the imperatives and requests about
clothes, students practice their knowledge with role-play activity in pairs. Then, at the end of the lecture, they
take an exam on Google Forms to be evaluated on the whole unit.
Back-up plans:
In case there are technical problems, hard copies of the exam and presentation will be distributed.
If role-play activity takes too much time, the number of each group’s members will be increased.
