We shall make payment hereunder notwithstanding any contestation by the said Contractor.

Our liability hereunder shall not be affected by any modifications or additions to the terms of the
said Contract or its scope or any extension of time which may be agreed between the said
Contractor and yourselves or by any indulgence or forbearance which you may grant to the said
Contractor.

Performance Bond shall be valid until the Date for Completion issuing the Certificate for Completion,
and any demand received by us thereafter shall be null and void.
