QCM- 1 Report
(B.Tech- Mechanical Engineering & B.Tech Automobile Engineering)

Quality Circle Meeting-1 for the 6th semester students of B.Tech Mechanical and B.Tech.,
Automobile Engineering was conducted on 07.01.2021 through online. Students were asked to
respond on the basis of syllabus coverage, clarity and quality of the presentation by the faculty,
interaction with the faculty during the class, course material provided and suggestions for
improvement of delivery. The following responses were received from the students for the below
mentioned courses,

BTME3003-Heat and Mass Transfer, MATH3010-Numerical Methods, the maximum students

have given ‘very good’ and ‘excellent’ rating for feedback on teaching learning process. Clarity
and quality of presentation by faculty also very good and the course materials are provided to the
students. The sufficient problems were solved in these courses.

BTME3008-Dynamics of Machines, BTME3053-Computational Fluid Dynamics, BTME3057-

Advance Machining Processes, around 80% of students given rating Excellent and the remaining
students have rated as very good in teaching learning process. The course materials are provided
to the students periodically and also uploaded in the iCould on regular basis.

BTME3062-Internal Combustion Engines, BTME3063-Design of Transmission Systems,

BTME3065-Metal Forming Theory and Practice, BTME3067-Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning, BTME3075-Mechanical Vibrations– 75% Students in these lab courses rated
Excellent and remaining 25 % of students have given very good for course coverage, explanation
of the content and interaction with students.

MAT252-Numerical Methods Lab, SLBT3002-Soft Skill - 6 (Campus to Corporate),

BTME3004-Applied Thermodynamics and HMT Lab, BTME3019-Dynamics of Machines
Laboratory, in these courses the students felt good in the teaching learning processes. The
maximum students have given very good and excellent rating for the feedback on interaction of
faculty with the students. Clarity and quality of presentation by the faculty members are also
very good and the course materials are provided to the students.
