АНОТАЦІЯ
Зміни в навчальному процесі висувають нові вимоги до діяльності
вчителя, що орієнтована на учня, і це викликає необхідність по-новому
підійти до проблеми формування навичок читання на початковому етапі.
Актуальність проблеми полягає в тому, щоб через упровадження

сучасних методик сформувати в молодших школярів навички спілкування в
усній та писемній формах. А так, як читання іноземною мовою, як
комунікативне уміння і засіб спілкування є важливим видом мовленнєвої
діяльності, яке включає техніку читання і розуміння того, що читається,
тому ведуча педагогічна ідея полягає в тому, щоб навчити учня
початкової школи техніці читання на добре відомому лексичному
матеріалі з елементами новизни. Сформувати в учнів зоро- графічні та
слухомоторні зв’язки, які сприяють миттєвому впізнаванню і розумінню
слів, співвідносити їх зі значенням інших слів. Об’єднувати слова в
синтагми, синтагми в речення та речення в більш смислові утворення.
Зміст і цінність посібника «Вчимося читати» в тому, що підібрані

матеріали відповідають програмі спеціалізованої школи з поглибленим
вивченням англійської мови. Весь лексичний та граматичний матеріал,
автентичні тексти для читання охоплюють вивчення 5 тем: «Я, моя сім`я і
друзі», «Шкільне життя», «Свята та традиції», «Дозвілля», «Природа» і
розміщені у 106 уроках. У кожному уроці подаються вправи, що
допомагають активізувати та закріпити вживання лексики, а також
сформувати навички читання та контролювати розуміння прочитаного.
Граматичні вправи охоплюють явища, призначені для активного засвоєння
учнями у 2 класі. Вправи є комунікативно-спрямованими з опорами різних
видів: змістові і смислові, словесні і зображальні ( текст, мікротекст, план,
логіко-синтаксична схема). Вчитель може використовувати матеріал в
найрізноманітніших формах ( парах, тріадах,невеликих групах, з усією
групою). Посібник призначений для навчання читання учнів молодших
класів. Може бути використаний вчителями початкових класів, учнями
гімназій, загальноосвітніх шкіл, які самостійно вивчають англійську мову,
як другу мову.
Посібник «Вчимося читати» створено на основі методичної літератури і

власного досвіду вчителя.
