HKIRC Membership Application Guide

This user guide is to provide step-by-step instruction on how to submit HKIRC membership application.

This user guide is provided for reference only, and is subject to changes without notice. Screenshots
contained in this user guide are intended for illustration only.

For Organizational Member

Please ready the following documents for HKIRC membership application:

1. A copy of Business Registration Certificate or other document that proves your legal presence.

2. Identity proof of the member’s representative e.g. copy of HKID card or passport.
(Remarks: Alternatively, the member’s representative can choose to visit HKIRC’s office and
present his/her HKID card or passport for verification.)

3. The Authorization Letter after signing. You may download the letter template here or download it at
step 4 during the online application process.

4. Please provide a copy of (a) the Signatory’s HKID card or passport and (b) business card or other
authorization document showing that the Signatory is duly authorized by the organization to sign the
Authorization Letter.
(Remarks: Alternatively, the Signatory can choose to visit HKIRC’s office and present his/her HKID card
or passport for verification).

Please note that the Authorization Letter must be signed by a Director or an Authorized Representative of the
relevant organization. A letter which is not properly signed will be rejected by HKIRC. You acknowledge that all
the information and document(s) provided in connection with the Authorization Letter are true and correct to
the best of your knowledge. You are reminded that provision of false information or document(s) could
constitute an offence under the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200).
To submit the application, please go to https://members.hkirc.hk/MRS/faces/memberRegistration.xhtml.

1. Input your valid .hk domain name

2. Create your own login name and password


3. Input the contact information of member’s representative

4. To identify member class, please answer the questions


5. Please check the boxes and press ‘I have read and accepted’ to proceed

6. We shall then send an email to the member email address, please use the temporary token to proceed.
7. An approval email will be sent to domain registrant’s email address for verification. The
domain registrant is required to click the approval link to confirm the member registration.

8. Please download the authorization letter, sign and affix the company stamp. Then, upload it together
with the other required document(s) by clicking ‘Submit Document’ in your membership account.
