I can create a body of work in a specific medium that explores a personal theme, idea, or
concept.
● Students will create a collage of any materials or any subject they can collect.
● Once the collage is finished the black silhouette of the person will be glued on top

Design a house using 2d perspective
I can create a process folio to relate the structure of my composition to the idea communicated.
● Students will work on creating mood board for architecture
● Students will work on ‘drills’ in packet helping them learn prismacolors,value, 2-d

Linoleum print
I can apply a range of approaches using materials and methods to plan a series of artworks.
● Students will learn about Mexican printmaking
● Students will learn about printing press
● Students will combine storytelling and newspaper style printmaking from early
newspapers to create linoleum prints

Animation via powerpoint
I can document and justify the planning and development of an artwork from the inception of the
idea to completion.
● Students will use powerpoint to make a 25 second min animation.
● Students will have to plan the project by creating “idea scripts”

Finish projects/Art portfolios/Art show
I can reflect, revise, and refine my work considering relevant criteria and my artistic voice.
Students will use this time to prepare for art shows and final grades.
