After attending the lecture and studying the assigned materials, 4th grade students will identify the
weather conditions and clothes by using simple present and present continuous tense.

have a conversation between their pairs.

Summary
In this lesson, students will learn about weather conditions and type of clothes. Students
practice asking about and describing the weather and clothes. Students will play games, do
activities, fill out the handouts about clothes and weather conditions.
Measurement & Evaluation
Class Handouts, speaking game.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for The handout will be checked in the classroom by the
Individual Performance teacher and the questions in the handouts will be
answered in the class.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Teacher will observe the students’ speaking about the
Group Performance clothes activity in class.
Homework (optional) Students will do the homework given by the teacher.

Explanation
There will not be any graded activity however, teacher will check the homework and handouts in class.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
In this week, “Weather Conditions” will be introduced by PowToon Animation video in the beginning
of the lesson.
Teacher will give brief information about the structures about weather conditions. E.g.: What is the
weather like?
Student will fill the handouts given in classroom then check it with the class.
In the second hour, “Clothes” will be introduced by Prezi (presentation)
Teacher will give brief information about the structures about clothes e.g.: What are you wearing?
Students will fill out the handouts in the classroom then check it with the class.
At the end of the lesson students will play a speaking game about clothes:
Each pair of students also needs one pencil and one paper clip. (paper clip will be provided by the
teacher)
In this game, students will take turns in flicking the paper clip to make it spin (place the paper clip in
the middle and place the pencil in the middle of paper clip, and then flick). Then, students should
make a dialogue based on the item of clothing that the clip lands on.
Teacher will give the homework to students.

Backup Plan: If there is a trouble with timing, filling out the handout for clothes can be cancelled and
will be given as homework.
If there is a technical problem, teacher will move on with the hardcopy of Prezi.
