REFLECTION:

In that interview that we conducted I have learned a lot of things about Mr. Blank. It’s very

much interesting to know on how the way he conduct his lesson and assess his learners.

With this I learned that he was a teacher in UP college, a Physical Education teacher

specifically and in his answers on the questions, I observed that he is a constructivist in

which he let his students try to learn and gain knowledge by themselves and with his

guidance. As what he said, “what I do is I watch my student closely to see if they can do

the Task I asked them to do properly. for example, in warm ups, they experience difficulty

on balancing and moving properly.” Moreover, as he assess his students cognitive

knowledge, he try to keep an eye on them as he observe if they’re really doing something

to learn and he conducted a lesson with a step-by-step teaching pedagogy process of

learning so that his students will not be confuse. I teach and demonstrate the basic

movement they need to understand in order to recognize and perform properly until they

master the movement and skill that is intended for them to acquire after learning and

mastering the movement. He asserted. In addition, he also acknowledge the differences

between his students and the ability of participation in the physical activities. He

accommodate it by doing and making some other task for them also to learn. It was then

he also assess his students and his motivated to teach his students as he make them as

his motivation and with the involvement of students family and peers. After that interview,

I would say I feel amazed for him and somewhat like I want to be him because he is a

good and efficient educator for me. That’s why for me as future Physical Education

teacher, it is really necessary to develop a teaching pedagogy where we aim to become

an effective educator and students can surely gain knowledge.
