Reflection about Vision, Mission and core values of OLFU

The vision states the unique qualities of the university in which it accepts students no
matter who they are and what pasts they may have in their lives. By means of the word inclusive
this pertains that the university does not judge and filler out students from the start, instead they
give chances and opportunities for the students in order to achieve their goals in life and to
become who they are meant to be. Students will be determined to study and explore the world as
they demonstrate and share their knowledge and skills in their profession as they are given a
privilege to prove themselves. They would be able to determine their strengths and weakness
with the help of this university as the vision statement serves as an essential reminder and guide
to the various paths they are taking in their everyday lives. Within the vision statement,
improving man as man is the aspiration if the university as they desired enhance the abilities and
personality if an individual. This phrase is included for the reason wherein there are some
instances in which people tend to forget and become negligent on how to be a proper human as
they commit inhumane acts towards other people, nature and animals. The university aspires this
kind of improvement in order to contribute a better change for the society and the future. By
offering excellent education and compassionate value formation, the university would be able to
develop a person to become a human who was ought to be a professional, responsible and
respectable. Having an excellent education makes the students knowledgeable and competent
while being taught to be compassionate the students will be able to learn to show sympathy to
others which will serve as their foundation to help for those who are in need. Because of the
calibers offered by the university these make it as the best choice for students and parents to rise
to the top as they make their dreams come true.
In order to attain the vision of the university, the mission statement serves as the process
towards their goal in which it is composed of the actions needed/ required to make the successful
role of the students more possible. The mission statement are the milestones for the university as
it will enable to improve man as man wherein they are dedicated as this will make a great
development for the reputation of the students, professors, staff and admins of the university,
Being dedicated is very powerful to keep one’s goal alive. This mission statement make the
students remember that all things are possible for those who believe. Through the holistic
formation of individuals it is concerned with the development of every person’s intellectual,
social, emotional, physical, creative, artistic & spiritual potentials. The university seeks to
engage students in the teaching-learning process as they encourage personal and collective
responsibility. Being imbued with knowledge is important for the university as it defines a
person’s perseverance and dedication just to achieve their dreams in terms of having the
knowledge required for each profession. Being skillfully potential an individual would be able to
adapt from the environment he or she is living in, so as to for them to be well known as they
have such talents. Lastly having virtues enables a person to act in ways that develop these
potentials. It allows them to pursue the ideals they have adopted and these will lead them to their
success.
These core values are the fundamental beliefs of the university as it serves as guiding principles
to dictate behavior and helps the students to understand the difference between right and wrong
as well as it help the university to fulfill their goals. The core values are the standards a student is
required to have and polish in order them being stuck in a pinnacle as it contributes to ones’
personal decision making.
