05. Scope of Certification: Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain

a. Scope of Consulting: iota Consulting BD will carry out the following activities on behalf of
ACS Logistics and Mariners Cargo

b. Visit of all departments and processes to understand the existing system of Quality
Management

c. Carry out gap analysis

d. Establish QMS Processes and criteria for process performance assessment

e. Preparing the Quality Manual and associated procedures and work instructions
specifically aligned with DoS requirement of VGM compliance.
f. Conduct training for employees of ACS Logistics Ltd. and Mariners Cargo Services Ltd. for
ISO 9001:2015 standard. There will be 1 training in Chittagong and 1 in Dhaka.

g. Implementation of the Quality Management System

h. Conducting Internal Audit

i. Carry out Corrective Action to close all gaps identified in the Internal Audit

j. Conduct Management Review

k. Invite Certification Body to conduct the Certification Audit

l. Accompany client team to face the audit from the Certification Body.

m. Evaluate the audit report and close all Non-conformities raised.

 n. Ensure Certificate of ISO 9001:2015 is issued

06. Timeline: The total time required to complete the project and obtain the Certificate is 4 months
from the day of signing contract and advance payment.
07. Type of Certificate: ISO 9001:2015, issued under Accreditation of UKAS (United Kingdom
Accreditation Service.) Certificate will be issues by an internationally reputed Certification
Body as chosen by client. As an advice, iota will name Bureau Veritas as the certification body.
08. Fees: Following fees will be applicable for this project:
a. Preparing the 4 locations for ISO 9001:2015 Certification Audit: BDT 3,00,000

b. 2 x 2 Day Long Internal Auditor Course on ISO 9001:2015 : BDT 40,000

Total: BDT 3,40,000

(In Words: BDT Three Lacs and Forty Thousand Only)

Note 1: This certification will meet the VGM requirement as well as any requirement of regulators,
partners, customers for ISO 9001 certificate.

Note 2: Client will provide all transports, whether to the offices or to the sites. 2 Dhaka-Chittagong air
travel will also be provided by client for visit of senior consultant if necessary.

Note 3: For training, client will provide venue, food, stationary, projector, microphone etc as required.
Iota will provide a set of soft copy of training material and the trainer who will provide the training.

Note 4: 15 % VAT will be paid by client and challan will be handed over to iota within 30 day of payment
of fees.
09. Mode of Payment: a. Advance during sign up: 40% of the total amount

b. After submission of Quality Manual: 30% of total amount

c. Before Certification Audit: 20% of the total amount

d. After issuance of Original Certificate: 10% of the total amount
