IS IT BETTER TO GO TO A LARGE SCHOOL OR A SMALL SCHOOL?

- STUDYING AND LEARNING

- MAKING FRIENDS
- IDEA FACILITIES

Most towns and cities have many schools to choose from so when deciding which school to attend
there are many things to think about. It is worth considering the advantages and disadvantages of
both small and larger schools.

On the one hand, small schools offer a family feel with smaller buildings, fewer teachers and less
pupils in classes which could lead to more individual attention. On the other hand, bigger schools
have more staff who may have different views and teaching methods, however larger classes could
mean that problems in learning are not identified.

It’s true that in big schools there are more students therefore there are more people to make friends
with and you are more likely to find people that you have things in common with. Although some
students could feel lost amongst so many people. Rather than in a small school where pupils always
have to spend time with the same people.

Most schools have good sport and science facilities but in most case the bigger the school the better
they are. Larger schools can offer a wider variety of sports for example and may even have their own
swimming pool.

It seems to me that both size schools have their pros and cons but personally speaking I would
prefer a small school which can give me more personal attention .
