Checking valve lift

Below is the table of timing diagram for 1 mm and 5 mm lift.
Refer to these values for the following procedure.

Theoretical nominal lift values:
INTAKE VALVE LIFT: 10.45mm
EXHAUST VALVE LIFT: 9.45 mm

Bring the piston of the cylinder on which you have to work to TDC using tool (A) part no. 88713.2574 fitted on support (B) for dial gauges
no.88713.3614.

Install the two dial gauges (C) of tool part no. 88713.3614.

Set the opening valve clearance to zero when the camshafts are in rest position by fitting a feeler gauge, of suitable thickness, between the
upper rocker arm and the opening shim. Lock the dial gauge into the support seat and position fork probe against the face of the closing shim.
Set the dial gauge to zero when the valve is fully closed.
Rotate the intake crankshaft so as to allow the intake valves to lift fully. Check on the dial gauge that the measured value corresponds to the one
indicated in the table.
Repeat the same operation for the exhaust valves, using the dial gauge in the support seat.
