    There are four coils total on the vehicle, with two each on the front and rear heads. To remove the front coils, the radiator duct must be removed and the coils disconnected from the front head. To remove the rear coils, the fuel tank must be removed and the coils disconnected from the rear head. Reinstallation follows the reverse process, with all coils being tightened to a torque of 10 Nm.

    Coils

    POSITION

    Four coils are present on the vehicle. Two coils (1) are installed to the front head, and the other two coils (2) are installed to the rear head.

    REMOVAL

    Remove the two coils (1) installed to the front head as follows:
    Remove the Rad­Duct (Removing the Rad­Duct).

    Disconnect the two coils (1) from the front head as shown in chapter "Branch 9".

    Loosen fastening screws (3) and remove front head coils (1).

    Remove the two coils (2) installed to the rear head as follows:

    Remove the fuel tank (Removing the fuel tank).

    Disconnect the two coils (2) from the rear head as shown in chapter "Branch 8".

    Loosen fastening screws (4) and remove rear head coils (2).

    REFITTING

    Refit the two coils (1) installed to the front head as follows:

    Position front head coils (1) and tighten the screws (2) to a torque of 10 Nm (min. 9 Nm – max. 11 Nm).

    Reconnect the two coils (1) on the front head as shown in chapter "Branch 9".

    Refit the Rad­Duct (Refitting the Rad­Duct).

    Refit the two coils (2) installed to the rear head as follows:

    Position rear head coils (2) and tighten the screws (4) to a torque of 10 Nm (min. 9 Nm – max. 11 Nm).

    Reconnect the two coils (2) on the rear head as shown in chapter "Branch 8".

    Refit the fuel tank (Refitting the fuel tank).
