The conjunction is “ise”

It can be written separately, then it is completely independent. It has only one form.
But Turks usually use it as a suffix:
it is “-se/sa” if the word ends in a consonant.
it is “-yse/-ysa” if the word ends in a vowel.

It takes the personal suffixes of 2nd type:

isen -sen -san
ise -se -sa
isek -sek -sak
iseniz -seniz -sanız
iseler -seler, -lerse -salar, -larsa

“EĞER” is not absolutely necessary. “ise” must always be used no matter with or without “eğer”.

“ise” is actually a conjugation of the archaic “imek” verb

in conditional mood. i had talked about this situation in
the former file.
It doesn’t have any specific working principle for each tense. It is stable for all them.

this also replaces the past perfect tense, coz it sounds too weird
when “ise” added after “-mişti”.

if something new was invented, we hear about it five years later at least.

kurmak

bu cümleyi kurabildiysen Türkçen iyi demektir.
it means that your Turkish is good, if you couldCOMPLETED/DONE/REALIZED make this sentence.
PRESENT CONTINUOUS + IF this also replaces the past continuous tense, coz it sounds too weird
when “ise” added after “-yordu”.
Instead, you can use it separately: -yordu ise

you can’t do it unless you try / if you don’t try.

onu on beş yıldır görmedim. beni unutmuşsa alınmam, çok normal.
i haven’t seen him for fifteen years. i don’t take offense if he’s forgetten me, that’s very normal.
