The line graph compares and contrasts the data on the changes in how
many a library books wereas read by students in both genders at Starmouth
School over a four - year period (2009 - 2012). It is clearly seen from the graph
that there were generally upward trends in the number of library books read by
boys and girls.according to genders , while the figure of books read by boys
from 2011 to 2012 had a downward trend.

Clearly, Looking into the details, during the first 3 years (2009 - 2011),
the quantities of books read by males and females, which had similar upward
trends. Looking into the details, Both the number of books read by both boys
and girls increased significantly from over 40 to 100 books and from 20 to 100
books respectively.

On the other hand, in the last 2 years ( 2011-2012), there were the
contrasting trends in the number of books read by boys and girls.more female
students read /liked reading a book in a library than male ones. In detail, the
former rose considerably from 100 to 140 books, went down markedly from 100
to 80 books, whereas the latter rose considerably from 100 to 140 books.
