1. Purpose of the experiment

To learn the magnetic field winding DC Shunt motor, connecting method of armature winding, how to
operate and it's structure and character.

3. Notice
1 - O When connecting the circuit, be careful not to get the field and starting resistances exchanged.
2 - Upon starting the motor, set the resistance value of starting resistor to the maximum, after setting
the field resistor to the minimum resistance value, operate the motor with reducing the resistance value
of starting resistor gradually.
3 - After confirming the contents of notice on experiment 5-3 proceed the experiment.
