Anwar Al Jabri investments in financial services, education, healthcare,

Anwar Al Jabri joined Jabreen Capital as CEO 2018.
Al Jabri has more than 18 years of industry experience
where he has held various leadership positions.
Prior to joining Jabreen Capital, he spent seven years
at Oman Investment Fund (OIF), where he was an
investment director and also CEO of OIF’s subsidiary
National Pioneer Investment & Development Company.
As an investment director at OIF, he was responsible for
retail, technology, telecom, power generation and the
services sectors. Before becoming investment director at
OIF, he was chief financial officer at OIF. Prior to joining
OIF, he was a financial controller at Oman Refinery
Company (ORC), where he was responsible for treasury
operations, accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting,
Masters in Business Administration and is
a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Bill Hunt
CEO, National Detergent Company
Bill Hunt is the CEO of National Detergent Company SAOG
(NDC), a publicly traded marketer of brands like Bahar,
Farah and No.1. NDC serves a wide range of markets
including Fabric Care, Home Care, Personal Care and
Health and Hygiene Care segments. The company also
has an industrial division which manufactures and markets
products for oil & gas and construction industries.
Under his leadership, the company achieved a 135 per
cent year on year increase in profitability and has won
many prestigious awards including Oman’s Most Trusted
Brand Award and increased the company’s Omanisation
rate to 44 per cent. Previously Bill Hunt served as the
CEO of some of the world’s most respected companies
in Asia, Middle-East and North & South America.
Notably, Hunt worked for General Electric Co. under
Dr. Jack Welch when GE became the most profitable
company in the world. Hunt holds a Master’s in Business
Administration in Finance from Chicago Booth, University
of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors
from Washington University in St. Louis MO, USA.

Anacin Kum
CEO, Hutchison Ports Sohar
With an impressive work history and knowledge of three
decades in the maritime logistics industry, Anacin Kum
started his career in the shipping business and held
various senior executive positions in P&O Nedlloyd
before joining Hutchison Ports in 1998. Kum is assigned
to its investment in the Sultanate of Oman as the CEO
of Hutchison Ports Sohar since 2018, overseeing the
container terminal business. Prior to Sohar Port, Kum
held various CEO and senior management positions of
