Kindergarten Reading: Playground

Our fathers built this for us! It is a house with two

slides. To get to the top of the house, you must
climb the green and red ladder. The big slide is
from the house and it is so fast! The smaller slide
is on the lower level and is slower than the big
slide. We love playing on it! We can have races
to see who is the fastest. We can see fantastic
views from the top of the house. Thanks, father,
for building it!

This is our climbing pyramid! It is in our school

playground. It is one of our favourite things to
play! We can climb to the top by using the
ropes around the pyramid. Once we get to the
top, we can see some fantastic views. We need
to be careful because we can fall down. We
should not push each other and be careful with
our footing. It is so fun to see who is the fastest
at climbing!

We love playing on our monkey bars at school!

It is red and big. It is a bit different to other ones.
We have tires hanging down to help us walk
along. We can use the bar instead to make it
harder. To get up, we can use either the steps
or the hoops. It is easier to use the steps, as you
have better footing. The hoops we can sit in as
they are big. When playing on the monkey bars
we must be careful, as we can fall down. We
should not push each other and take our time
while crossing.

This is our climbing wall tunnel! It is only for our

school and it is very special. It is a triangular
pyramid shape, that you can climb on the
outside and go through the tunnel in the inside.
To climb to the top, we can use the climbing
holds to get to the top. There are so many
colors!
On the side we have a tire swing! It is so much
fun. We sit inside it and go back and forwards.
We can’t go side to side as we will hit the pole.
We must be careful.
