 Our Classroom

This is our classroom! There are lots of things to see and do here. We have toys
and games, lots of books to read, and things to make and do. We have a sand tray
and a water tray too. Can you see the computer? Can you see the whiteboard?
Where do you hang your coats? Where do you put your drink bottles?
 Outside Area

There are lots of things to do in the outside area too. We have bikes and scooters
to ride, balls and hoops to play games with, climbing frames and slides, and lots of
plants and flowers to explore too.
 School Hall

We go to the school hall for lots of different activities. Sometimes, we will go to

the hall for assembly with other children and teachers. Sometimes, we will go to
the hall for PE lessons, when we can run around and play games. We also go to the
hall when it is lunchtime. There will be lots of tables and chairs for your to sit with
your friends to eat lunch.
 School Office

The school office is a very important place. This is where we bring the register
each day. This is also where you will come if you hurt yourself or if you feel
unwell. Lots of people work in the office. They help to look after everyone in our
school.
 Headteacher’s Office

This is our headteacher, (insert headteacher’s name). They help to look after all the
children and adults in the school. You might see them in assembly in the hall or at
playtime. Can you give them a smile and
a wave?
 Library

There are lots and lots of books in the library! We come to the library for quiet
reading time. We can sit on the cushions and read with our friends. There are
books we can listen to too. Sometimes, we come for story time in the library. What
books do you like to read? Have you been to a library before?
 Computer Room

There are lots of computers in this room! We sometimes come to the computer
room to use the computers in groups or as a whole class. We can use the
computers to play games, draw pictures and use the Internet.
 Playground

At playtime, we come to the playground to play with children in other classes.

There are lots of adults to look after you too. You can play games with your
friends. What games might you play in the playground? When you hear the bell, it
means it is time to come back inside.
 School Field

The school field is a big space to play! Sometimes, when it is sunny, we go to the
field to play. It is fun to do PE outside on the field too – we can play lots of games
together. We can do activities, such as running races, and throwing and catching
games. In the summer, we have Sports Day
on the field.
