AIMS OF THE SUBJECT,


1. To enable the students to understand and appreciate the significance of management work
in work organisations.
2. To equip students with basic front line management responsibilities
3. To prepare students for basic line management

SUBJECT OBJECTIVES
The general objective of the units is stated below and the specific objectives of the topic areas
are set out in the syllabus content.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

2. Perform various function and responsibilities
3. Demonstrate a basic application of the current labour Act of Zimbabwe
4. Relate and explain basic principles of economies
5. Apply basic accounting procedures
