edX -electric cars

What do you think is the main argument for combining these three perspectives in
this course?

The above mentioned perspectives i.e. technology, business and policy are interdependent one way
or the other as:

- Technology plays the vital role for the development of electric mobility. It paves the way for future
business in this domain.

- Business helps to globalize this phenomena and leads to profitability for the people investing in it.

- Policy controls the way in which the economies would allow this development to sustain and take
place. It directly influences the way the transition to sustainable energy would commence thus
merging it gradually with the current automotive industry.

Can you come up with another perspective that should be included?

Another perspective can be "infrastructure"

e.g. With the development of technologies and policies favoring the production of electric vehicles,
necessary infrastructure like the Turbo charging stations and their availability in the less traveled
areas/villages will pose a significant challenge. Since the world is resistant to the way automobile
industry is transitioning from gasoline to Li-ion as fuel for the vehicles, therefore ensuring the
availability of abundant charging stations just like gasoline counterpart would be vital for sustaining
electric mobility.

These stations should be compact and be available at a distance of few miles from one another
regardless of cities or outskirts areas.
