The Committee as per Notification vide No.SO.DC&C(LG)8-1/2017 dated:13.08.2020. In this regard,
a meeting was held on 05.11.2020, chaired by Additional Secretary Department Lahore. During discussion meeting,
as per direction by the Chair, undersigned has constituted Sub Committee for the inspection of 206-Nos. Water
Filtration Plants which were installed by Public Health Engineering Division Lahore, for Handing / Taking over, out
of those filtration plants which has been completed its O&M period.
The TOR’s of the committee is as under.
i. Submit a detail report after physical verification of each of the 206 Water Filtration Plants.
ii. Assess on Ground Water Quality of Water Filtration Plants and also submit report of pollutants e.g.
Turbidity, Arsenic level and Micro-organisms each.
iii. Propose way forward for Handing / Taking over of Water Filtration Plants.
iv. Submit business plan for making these plants self-sustaining.

The Chair discussed with the participants for the implementation of TOR’s. The Chair pointed out,
that, in the 1st Phase, 124-Nos. Dysfunctional Water Filtration Plants will be Physical Verified by the Joint Team of
PHE Department & MCL and submit their report. It is also pertinent to mentioned here that department has already
submitted the following documents / records of 206-Nos. Water Filtration Plants has been delivered to MCL during
last meeting under Chairmanship of Secretary LG & CD Department.

a) Copies of PC-I Estimate of each Water Filtration Plants.

b) Copies of Water Quality Test Report of each Water Filtration Plants.
c) Geo Tagging of each Water Filtration Plants.
d) Copies of Electricity Paid Bills of each Water Filtration Plants.
e) Copies of Land Acquisition Stamp Papers of each Water Filtration Plants.

Now, following representatives are nominated for the Physical Verification of 124-Nos.
Dysfunctional Water Filtration Plants which has completed its O&M period.
