1) What is the main topic of the movie?

The death of Princess Diana and how the Royal Family dealed with it during the
election of the Prime Minister.
2) Describe the historical context shown in the movie
The Royal Family was, in that time, struggling to elect the new goverment in UK
3) Write 3 facts mentioned in the movie
Princess Diana death, how the prime minister advised the Queen to keep a proper
behavior and how the death of Princess Diana would threaten the monarchy.
4) How did the movie help you to understand better the historical event presented
in it?
It helped me better understand how public figures behave in the face of tragic
cases in which they are involved.
Activity 11 “Discussing facts about education in your country”

Write some ideas that can describe your opinion or experiences on the
topics below (50 words each)

1. Your first day in primary school.

My first day at school was very exciting since I didn't know anyone and it was
difficult for me to make friends; But I also had great moments at school because I
was the only one in the classroom who knew how to read and write, so that year I
stood out among my classmates.
2. The quality of your elementary education.
The quality of my education is very good in the elementary school stage I always
got good grades and first places, when I entered secondary school I neglected my
studies a little, I accept it, but I was always one of the first places, in high school
my Education was excellent, thanks to that I have a technical degree in
mechatronics.
3. Higher education facilities in your country.
The facilities of my higher education are incredible, it has heated areas, good
classrooms with excellent lighting, and its laboratories are very well equipped with
the work tools. Some facilities have painted murals, all relating to engineering
which is incredible. It has excellent sports facilities, as well as an excellent gym.
4. The preparation of teachers in your school.
The preparation of the teachers that I have had throughout my student career is
excellent, I have had teachers who are highly qualified to teach, in addition to each
one having their own technique to teach, I believe that to be a good teacher not
only do you need to know what you will say, but it is also necessary to have
charisma so that the students are attentive. I have had teachers with master's
degrees, doctorates, scientists, etc. ...
5. All children go to school in Mexico.
Unfortunately, 63% of the 3 to 5 year old population attends school as too many
people think that kindergarten is not necessary and choose to wait for primary
school. 96% of boys and girls from 6 to 14 years old attend school, which is a good
number since in previous years the percentage was much lower.
6. Higher education is expensive in Mexico.
Is higher education expensive? Well, that depends on the university since public
universities are usually very cheap for applicants who come from a high school
affiliated with that university, since if you are foreign, the university will be very
expensive. Private universities are usually too expensive, in just one semester you
will end up paying around $ 50,000 and that's if you have an academic scholarship.
7. The educational system in Mexico needs improvement.
Although Mexico is the country with the highest proportion of its public spending
allocated to education (22%), this is not reflected in better results and the level of
its students is at the lowest. As I mentioned before, we have excellent teachers
who are trained to teach, but the education system is far from being at the level of
the First World countries.
Activity 12 "Reviewing Information about education in the United Kingdom"
I. Write five questions that can be answered with the information given about
higher education in the United Kingdom. Include the answers. You may use
the next structure in your questions.

2. What do teachers need to start teaching?
Teachers need a license in addition to a diploma in education.
3. At what age does education begin in children?
Between the age of 3 and 4 years.
4. Is uniform used in schools?
The school uniform is used in practically all schools, whether public or private.

1) Write a summary of the video:
The Hyperloop an idea from Elon Musk, is a vision for a ground transport system that
would travel faster than an airliner at a fraction of the cost, this means that is like the train
or subway, but much faster, a lot faster than it normally took and from a few kilometers.
The hyperloop takes you from city to city, taking you from San Francisco and Los Angeles,
in USA, with more than 3,000 passengers for hour.

The Hyperloop does matter because hundreds of millions of dollars has been invested in
designing these potentially revolutionary transport systems, not only the fact that is going
to be cheaper than take an airplane or more faster than pick a subway, or a bus for the
distance, is because the possibilities that this revolutionary idea will be meeting in the
future, improving the hyperloop, or maybe making this same plan but now on airplane,
making flights more cheaper for persons who know that by this way can be improved to
make it faster and cheaper as well as the hyperloop.

Everyone should be happy for this idea, for their costs as we talk before, or for their fast
way to be in the city you want to be, but we need to talk about the routes, some of these
have been proposed, but only by the time of now, the Hyperloop will be looking at the
areas near these countries, making few stops, and too the way to board is faster, as a
subway, you will have your ticket, show it, and there you have it, you are a board of your
next destination at a matter of time.

The system will consist of a system of elevated tubes propped up by concrete pylons
spaced out every hundred feet, majority of the system is designed to travel next to
existing highway to keep costs down, the tubes would be about seven feet in diameter on
the inside and the cars themselves would seat 28 people per capsule and silver grids are
placed on top of the tubes in order to generate the electricity necessary for powering
Hyperloop.

2) Describe the innovation shown in the video.

The innovation was a ground transport system that would travel faster than an airliner at
a friction of the cost, the way it can generate electricity.
3) How was the engineering applied in the design and implementation of the
construction presented?

The principal factor of engineering applied in the design for me, is the fact that the
majority of the system is designed to travel next to existing highway to keep costs down,
this because as an engineer, we always want to keep the costs of everything relatively
down, or make it the cheaper way possible, but not reducing the quality of the product
that we are working on, maybe in fact changing supplier for the materials or the way we
work, but there is always a way to discount the total cost of something. The Hyperloop
made in the manner to transport more than 3,000 people per hour is incredible too, and
this only makes us think about the material that were used on the production of this
innovative idea, the tubes and pylons to keep working the hyperloop is amazing. Today is
important to talk about environment, and the silver grid on Hyperloop is clear way that we
are guided to that direction, to exploit the use of natural recourses as the solar energy.

4) Conclusion

By watching this idea, and many other made by Elon Musk or another Scientifics, or
enterprisers, is a reflection that the world has still imagination of what we are capable to
improve, give a better work and better results. Hyperloop can be the beginning of
extraordinary ideas that could be possible to make, and it’s not crazy to think on it, maybe
make a train that could cross every country in the world, or make flights to Mars, the
people have not reached their peak of imagination and creativity, so, tomorrow we could
have a great invention, or a new discover, the limit is the sky.

Maroon 5 is Nacho Libre (2006).
Alexandra Burke
It was not made by a Mexican director or producer, and the principal actor is
American, but this movie have some of the best representation about the
Mexican culture, representing the union of the family, our rich traditions, our
love to religion, and a loyal parody of what wrestling is.

Made in Oaxaca, Mexico, one of the states in Mexico most rich in culture that
actually have, and the scenarios shown in the movie are all natural, they exist,
the old buildings are patrimonial structures that still are in those towns, those
people which are actors are representations of normal people of this Mexican
community and are very loyal to the reality, that’s why I love Nacho Libre as a
very well done representation of Mexican culture, current and past traditions,
and love of what we are.
