1. OBJECTIVE:
The objective of theses SOPs is to ensure that all activities that are permitted to be carried on during the
COVID-19 Pandemic are carried on in a manner that ensures prevention of the spread of Corona Virus /
Covid-19.
2. SCOPE:
Staff and Operator Instructions All personnel are responsible to review and follow the guidance in this
document as applicable.
3. PROCEDURE:
3.1 GENERAL:
The workers and staff are properly briefed on the Covid-19 and spread of disease and the required precautions
against the disease as well as symptoms of the disease.
Company has displayed at prominent places the instructions and awareness poster in English and Urdu (as per
language commonly read/understood) for workers and staff and at entrance for the visitors/ customers. Where
necessary pictorial version of instructions and awareness posters has used for labour class.
Thermal guns are used at entrance to screen the entrants.
Persons with high temperature or flu like symptoms and cough should not be allowed.
Company has managed Entry and Exit points with sufficient staff.
Sufficient availability of hand-sanitizers or ideally hand washing facility to be ensured at the entrance / exit
gates as well as in the workplaces for all the workers to use.
3.2 Social Distancing:
• COVID-19 is readily transmitted from person-to-person when they are in each other’s breathing zones. It is
imperative to maintain required social distancing in order to minimize the spread in case anyone is affected.
• To ensure social distancing, 1 person at a time should work on each bench space (approx. 120 square feet
of space). No close group discussions are allowed. For any meeting or discussion, maintain distance of 6 feet
or use emails. In case of official/team meetings, please use online forums such as Microsoft Teams.
• Implement a work schedule so that individuals can avoid using the same space or equipment at the same
time as other individuals

• have tested positive for COVID-19 and have not yet been cleared to return to work by an authorized
public health official; or infectious disease consultant.
• have within the last 14 days returned from an area with reported community spread of COVID-19.
