Some templates may not be a perfect fit, a degree of good scalpel skill is

required to ensure everything goes ok. All hill sides will need chamfered
cuts on the inside to butt up neat.

Mounting board edge strips can be cut from STC. or Alternatively Cut 5mm
strips and match the angle needed to the template stuck to the foamcard anc
cut with scissors. Rooftop spires is where this is most appropriate

use granny grating for the top surface. i matched it by overlaying on top of
template and used a cd or ohp pen to mark what needed to be cut, simples.
Granny grating was used for the rooftop fencing with sections removed to
make a bigger gauge.

If you cut both parts as two individual pieces you can cut each inner corner at 45o so you can fold the template net up
for a cleaner and easier construction. refer to link at the bottom of the page for images that may help.

Rooftop spires do not have card
shapes to cap, this will depend
on how you cut the foamboard.
either cap with masking tape or
use 5mm strips of card and trim
to the right shape as you go. This
is what I did and so it’s not
something I have the exact
measurements for.

Refer to the link at the bottom

flower arranging wire to add
support to the rooftop spIres.
