Overall, it is clear from the diagram that there are seven distinct steps in the process to get a
driving license in America, from filling compulsory forms to doing the road test.

At the first step, candidates have to visit a driving license center where legally takes charge
of organizing a driving license test. At this point, these candidates must fill in the application
forms with personal details before taking an eyesight exam to ensure their vision meets the
minimum requirement of the US’s regulation on driving. If the candidates fail this medical
exam, they will have no chance to get a driving license. Those passed the vision test have to
pay compulsory fees, and then enter the written test. In this step, the candidates are
allowed to fail 3 attempts at maximum otherwise they have to re-purchase the fees for
taking the written test.
