Luskan The Throat 1

Luskan's main watertower rises out of a fenced grazing area for sheep. The Throat holds water
Forgotten Realms/Abir-Toril destined for the tables of the five captains. It is heavily guarded, and any intruder seen in the fenced
pasture is assumed to be an enemy of Luskan trying to poison the water supply. Painting the sheep
various hues used to be a popular prank among Mirabar dwarves, but this is highly discouraged.

Fang Island and Harbor Arm Island 8/9

These two uninhabited islands are bare rock crags. Fang Island is named for its tendency to
tear apart boats swept down the Mirar. For unknown reasons, harmful wild magic randomly
discharges there, which has stymied attempts by the Arcane Brotherhood to build on the
small island. Harbor Arm is the northernmost isle, and shelters Whitesails Harbor.

Luskan Navy use only A five limbed stone tree glows with magical energy in the center of the river Mirar. This structure holds the
exceptionally powerful Arcane Brotherhood, a group of wizards which at one point had absolute power over
● Luskan. They mysteriously disappeared, and just as suddenly reappeared a few years ago in a flash of
magical ability that cleared the undead out of the Illusk Ruins. They now seek to regain their former stature.

The Mirabar Shield 2
The Mirabar District (also known as the Mirabar Shield) is a
fortified compound operated by the merchants of Mirabar,
which handles both import, export, and sale of items and
ore from the dwarven city of Mirabar further up-river.

Sea Tower 4
Once Luskan's original pirate stronghold, this tower is now home
to all lesser members of the Arcane Brotherhood. Ambitious
mages and nonwizard senior agents are often out on the roof,
testing experimental spells late into the night. Occasionally, it is
also the scene of a magical duels between hot-headed students.

Blood Island 7
Occupied by Luskan's standing army, Blood Island contains a
guardtower, an armory, and two barracks at the upstream end
of the island. The roof of the tower is fitted with catapults that
can hurl missiles into both harbors, up the river, and into the city
itself.

Kurth Tower (First High Captain Beniago Kurth) 11


The current de facto leaders of Luskan, Ship Kurth have a
heavy hand in trade throughout the city. They also have
strong ties to the Bregan D'aerth. Beniago is a former
Bregan D'aerth, and some think he still answers to Jarlaxle.
