Luskan's main watertower rises out of a fenced grazing area for sheep. The Throat holds water
Forgotten Realms/Abir-Toril destined for the tables of the five captains. It is heavily guarded, and any intruder seen in the fenced
pasture is assumed to be an enemy of Luskan trying to poison the water supply. Painting the sheep
various hues used to be a popular prank among Mirabar dwarves, but this is highly discouraged.
Sword Coast/Faerun 200
Fang Island and Harbor Arm Island 8/9
These two uninhabited islands are bare rock crags. Fang Island is named for its tendency to
tear apart boats swept down the Mirar. For unknown reasons, harmful wild magic randomly
discharges there, which has stymied attempts by the Arcane Brotherhood to build on the
small island. Harbor Arm is the northernmost isle, and shelters Whitesails Harbor.
Sea Tower 4
Once Luskan's original pirate stronghold, this tower is now home
to all lesser members of the Arcane Brotherhood. Ambitious
mages and nonwizard senior agents are often out on the roof,
testing experimental spells late into the night. Occasionally, it is
also the scene of a magical duels between hot-headed students.
Blood Island 7
Occupied by Luskan's standing army, Blood Island contains a
guardtower, an armory, and two barracks at the upstream end
of the island. The roof of the tower is fitted with catapults that
can hurl missiles into both harbors, up the river, and into the city
itself.
