Assignment 10
BSA 3-11 Human Behavior in Organization

IV. ACTIVITY / EXERCISES

If your team needs motivation activities to sharpen their communication skills, this game
is an easy way to encourage that! You can play this game in pairs of 2 partners or in small groups.
The aim of the game is for one person to describe a random image and have their partner or
group draw what is being described. This activity to motivate employees can give your team great
insight into how people might interpret directions differently. If you need a fun office game for
employees, you’ll want to pick this idea. Time Required: 20 minutes Materials Needed:
• Random images that can be verbally described
• Pens or markers
• Sheets of paper

How to Play: One person will receive a random image. They will be tasked with describing
what they see to their partner or small group. Without seeing the image or asking questions, the
group must draw the image based on the verbal descriptions they receive. Give your teams
around 10 minutes to draw, and 10 minutes to reveal their drawings and talk about how
communication could be improved for next time.

We had a lot of fun. We done it through Microsoft Teams. We were lucky to have a stable internet
connection at that time. We did not encounter any other problems.

II. Answer the following:

1. Recall the time when you were at school and your teacher told the class to create groupings
for a specific project. Each group should also select a leader or set of officers to make the
project more efficient. Unfortunately, despite your efforts, your project was a failure…Share
your story and answer the following questions:

What was the project all about?

It was a research work about our senior high school strand which is STEM. It was entitled “Awareness of
Genetically Modified Foods of the Selected Junior High School Students of Dominican College of Santa
Rosa”.

What was your role in the project?

I was tasked to be the leader of the group.

How can you describe your group members and your leaders?
We were a group of three. The three of us were the tallest amongst our class. We had our strengths and
weakness but we were able to outcome our struggles by working together. I was mainly tasked on
Chapters 1, 3, 4, & 5. The other two did the Related Research Literature, survey questionnaires, editing,
printing, and book binding. They were really great groupmates and our research had good remarks.

Did your group met problems or conflict while doing your project?
We had trouble regarding our free time because one of our groupmates live far from our school so we
cannot do research overnight. We had a few days that only the two of us were working overnight.

How did your group solve it?

The two of us had to work overtime to make up for the shortcomings of one of our groupmates.

Which part did your group fall short that caused the project unsuccessful?

It was before our final presentation. We lacked time because we were also studying for the final
examinations.

If you will be in the same scenario, what would you do to make it successful?
I would be stricter with the deadlines. I was goofing off because I do not want to sound bossy, but things
have changed. Life teaches us that it is okay to be harsh sometimes especially if it is for the benefit of the
group rather than sacrificing your own time and everything else just to avoid conflicts.

2. Write a short story about your favorite sports and the specific team you cheered on every
time they are playing. Describe the role of each member how they are doing their part in
the game. Does this team always win and what do you think is their strategy/ies in winning?
When the odds are on their side, how do they resolve it?
I am not a fan of sports, but I could tell you a story regarding a team. I am fond of watching anime.
Currently my favorite anime is Black Clover. The team I liked the most is the Black Bulls. They are a
team of magic knights who are tasked to protect the Clover Kingdom. I cheered on them on their missions
to protect everyone. The leader of the Black Bulls is Yami Sukehiro. He is the type of a leader who is
cool. He is not strict, and he does not discriminate. The team is composed of members who are unique.
There is this Devil-possessed boy named Asta. Despite being possessed by a devil, he is using such
powers for good. In fact, he is one of the cornerstones in almost of the team’s successful defend. They
have this half-dwarf glutton named Charmie who loves cooking for the team which gives them power and
energy to protect the citizens of Clover Kingdom. They have this ex-convict named Gauche who will
always protect the team. They have this royalty named Noelle who accepts the team despite they pasts.
They are one of the most discriminated teams due to their team compositions, but they are the best in
defending the Clover Kingdom. They always back up each other. Each member fills in the gap the other
members lack. That’s why they are my favorite team.
