Build a platform that is equal to the container ground
width and container ground clearance. The platform

Use this ramp for bringing down the rear wheels
located in the back of the container if the forklift can
not lift its attachment due to the container ceiling.

• All process must be completed on the ground.


• Always wear gloves when handling materials.
• Be careful with the active parts on the backhoe
loader and other components.

Carefully remove the loader bucket from the container


using the forklift truck [Figure 5].

Move the bucket to the proper assembling area. Take


care about the parts (backhoe bucket and stabilizer foot
bases) inside the loader bucket [Figure 5].

Install the attachment (extensions) (Item 1) [Figure 6]
(See "Required Tools on page 1") on the forklift truck.
Lower the boom until half way and move the loader to
Figure 7 the outside. While moving, use the hydraulic controls to
slightly move the backhoe boom / arm if needed
[Figure 8].

NOTE: The backhoe boom / arm can touch the


lowest point of the container ceiling (door
section). Make sure to lower the backhoe
boom / arm to avoid contact.

Lift the wheel (Item 1) [Figure 7] (to be able to remove


it from the hook) using the forklift truck.

NOTE: Have a second person supporting the wheel


while lifting.

Remove the hook from the side wall of the container.

Carefully lower the wheel using the forklift truck and


remove it from the container [Figure 7]. Position the loader on the proper platform [Figure 9].

NOTE: Have a second person supporting the wheel


while lowering and moving.

Repeat this procedure for the other rear wheel.

Remove the front and rear transport wheels (Item 1)
[Figure 12] from the loader.
Slightly loosen the nuts of the transport wheels (Item 1)
(both sides) [Figure 10]. NOTE: Transport wheels are heavy. Be careful
while handling and moving.
NOTE: DO NOT remove the nuts completely.
NOTE: Always use gloves while handling the

Completely lower the loader to the platform (normal

Install the pin (Item 2) [Figure 17] through the holes


using the hammer.

NOTE: While installing the pin, take care of the


position of the hole in the pin.

Install and tighten the bolt (Item 3) [Figure 17] and nut
to secure the pin.

Repeat this step for the other (lower) side of the boom.

Carefully position the upper arms of the boom for Position the backhoe lower arm together with the

nuts to secure the upper and lower pins.

Remove the upper pin (Item 1) and lower pin (Item 2)


[Figure 19] from the backhoe arm of the loader.

Position the backhoe upper arm on the bucket and


install the upper pin (Item 1) [Figure 19].

NOTE: While installing the pin, take care of the


position of the hole in the pin.

Drive the first loader off the platform using the platform
ramps.

Start the engine of the second loader.

Carefully unload the second loader from the container
and position it on the platform as described in

Unload the rear wheels from the container as described

NOTE: It is better to use a forklift truck for


unloading the rear wheels, but this may
cause damage to the container ceiling
during the lifting of the rear wheels. When
experiencing difficulties, a wheel ramp (See 1
"Required Tools on page 1") can be used for S42336
unloading the rear wheels ("Unloading The
Rear Wheels Using A Wheel Ramp (If
Needed) on page 7"). Install the wheel ramp (Item 1) under the rear wheel
(Item 2) [Figure 24] and slightly lift the rear wheel from

Install the foot base (Item 1) on the stabilizer and install


the pin (Item 2) [Figure 25].

Align the hole in the pin and install the retaining bolt
(Item 1) [Figure 26] and nut.

Repeat this procedure for the other stabilizer foot base


and on the second loader.
