Before parents leave home….
COVID Self Assessment (link sent in earlier message)

Either bring your child or have a plan

What do you need to pick up?
Where was it last seen?

Bring a mask and hand sanitizer

for your personal use (there
will be a limited supply at school)

Parents can come alone however a student must have a parent present in order to
access the school

Gather any items that need to be returned eg. music instruments, textbooks, library
books etc.

REMINDER: LEAVE TDSB-BORROWED TECHNOLOGY AT HOME. THERE WILL BE A

SEPARATE PROCESS FOR COLLECTION IN THE FALL.

When parents arrive at school….come to the back of the school.
 Join one of the lines approaching Door 6
When parents arrive they will see three lines. The front of each line is near Door 6. The
back of each lines is at the hill beside the climber. Join the shortest line.
Start at one physically-distanced pylon and then advance closer to door 6 when the
person ahead of you moves forward.
As parents/students leave Door 7, others will be able to enter Door 6 . We will all work
together to move as quickly as possible in order to minimize any wait times.
 Door 6 - Sign In
At the Door 6 sign-in table you will be greeted by an administrator.
If you need hand sanitizer or a mask they will have it available
(masks are in limited supply). The administrator will sign you in and
keep track of the number of people entering.
 If parents need to pick-up medicine….
Inform the administrator at the sign-up table so
they can let the staff member near the office
know to get it prepared.
 If parents are bringing their children….

• Students need to remain with their parent at

all times.

To ensure the safety of all, parents are asked to ensure that they and their children
follow physical distancing protocols (2m separation ) throughout their visit.
 When parents are looking for their child’s
belongings, the first place to start is outside
their child’s main classroom
(or locker for intermediates)
Either the classroom will be open or the parent will find a sign like the one below
because the teacher has already gathered each child’s belongings in the hall.
 TDSB items will be returned to the tables
outside the main office.

A staff member will be present in this area to answer questions and gather items.
Leave borrowed TDSB tech at home
It is essential that all parents/students use
Door 7 to exit.

Door 7 is close to the main office and leads to the back of the school.
All other doors are not to be used.
Please leave the school property promptly to reduce congestion.
