How are you, Renni? While I am writing to you, I am enjoying the beautiful scenery of Ubud
from my hotel. My boss had told me that I shouldn’t miss visiting as many places as can
during my vacation in Bali. He said all places are beautiful. So ,I have rented a motorcycle in
an attempt to visit “and Ubud. Tomorrow, I am planning to go to Tanah Lot.
Bali is a really beautiful island. It’s paradise. Balinese nature and tradition are splendid. The
food is also marvelous. It is easy to find Western food around here but traditional food is the
best choice for me. I hope you also enjoy your holiday. I can’t wait to hear about your

Charles Martin Hall (1863 – 1914) was a U.S. chemist who invented an inexpensive
way of making pure alumunium. Hall made his discovery in 1886, aged 23. He did his
research in a laboratory in his house in Oberlin, Ohio .
The process became known as the Hall – Heroult process because Frenchman Paul
Heroult (1863 – 1914) developed a similar system, at the same time. Before the Hall-Heroult
process was invented, pure alumunium was as expensive as silver. Although, alumunium
compounds common,it was very difficult to refine the metal.
Hall’s discovery changed all that and made it possible for alumunium to be used in all
kinds of ways. The Hall-Heroult process is still used today.It involves electrolysis, where an
electric current splits alumina (aluminium oxide;Al2O3) into pure aluminium and oxygen.
This is done at high temperature so the alumina is melted into a liquid.

Once upon a time, there was a prince named Raden Bandung Bondowoso, son of the
king Pengging named Prabu Damar Moyo. Raden Bandung Bondowoso is a famous strong
and powerful prince.
Besides Pengging palace, there was another royal palace called Boko. The king was
Prabu Boko and his minister was Patih Gupalo, they both were man-eating giants. But Prabu
Boko possessed a daughter who was very beautiful, Roro Jonggrang.
One day Prabu Boko was eager to expand the empire by invading the kingdom
Pengging. Prabu Boko gathered his troops to attack the Kingdom Pengging. Heavy fighting
ensued, bloodshed was inevitable. Many of victims were on both sides. To reduce his victims,
King Damar Moyo ordered his son Raden Bandung Bondowoso to duel with Prabu Boko.
Because of the power and magic of Raden Bandung Bondowoso, Prabu Boko was killed.
Hearing Prabu Boko was killed, Patih Gupala ordered his troops to run away to the
palace. Raden Bandung Bondowoso did not run after them, with his remaining troops to
Boko palace. Patih Gupala who arrived prior to the palace, met Roro Jonggrong and told her
that Prabu Boko was killed at the hands of Raden Bandung Bondowoso. After Raden
Bandung Bondowoso arrived, he looked for Patih Gupala in the palace. But he met Roro
Jonggrang. Because of her beauty, Raden Bandung Bondowoso instantly fell in love with.
And he asked her to marry him. But Jonggrang rejected it, because she knew that Raden
Bondowoso killed his father.
To reject Raden Bandung Bondowoso’s proposal marriage, Roro Jonggrang gave a
requirement if Raden Bandung Bondowoso wanted to marry her. Jonggrang said:
“If you want to marry me, you have to build a well and a thousand temples in one night.”
The request sounded impossible. But Raden Bandung Bondowoso was confident with
his strength and magic and immediately proceed accordingly. He was starting to create a
well-known with the name Jalatunda. And make 1000 temples with the help mobilize the
genie to make.
Worrying that Raden Bondowoso would finish building. Jonggrang asked maids to
pound rice and burn straw in the east as a sign that the morning had come. The genie who
help Raden Bandung Bondowoso to finish 1000 temples fled for fear of the morning. Raden
Bandung Bondowoso was failed to build 1000 temples. he could only finish 999 temples.
Raden Bandung Bondowoso got angry knowing that the dawn was’t arriving. He was
very upset to find that Jonggrang who committed the fraud behind his failure. Then Raden
Bandung Bondowoso changed Jonggrang become a famous statue of the Goddess Durga
statue to complete the 1000 temples.

Gunung Tujuh Lake is one of the many lakes in Kabupaten Kerinci in Jambi province. It is an
amazing tourist place to visit. The location of Gunung Tujuh Lake is in Kecamatan Kayu
Aro. It is about 50 km from Sungai Penuh to Pelompek village by public transport. Then
people climb and walk for another 4 km or for 2,5 hours. The lake is surrounded by steep
forest slopes and seven mountains. The highest peak of Gunung Tujuh Lake is 1.950m above
sea level. The length of the lake is 4,5 km and the width is 3 km. It is a volcanic lake and the
highest in Southeast Asia. The temperature around the lake is very cold. Besides waterfalls
you can also find animals such as siamang, elephants, and birds, Gunung Tujuhlake is really
beautiful with spectacular scenery.

Nowadays many people use the Internet for communicating with other people. They share
their feelings, ideas, opinions, and problems in social network. However, sharing problems in
social network really annoys to other people and embarass themselves who do it.
People who share their problems in social network really annoys to other people. In Facebook
and Twitter, there are many unstable teenagers who post their problems here.
Social network is not about share the problem like this. As a user of social network, I feel like
they are disturbing my vision with their status. I want to see news from people updates, but
when they use it for sharing their problems, it is annoying.
Not only annoys to other people, sharing problems in social network embarass themselves.
With posting like what I show before, people think that the person who posted it has a terrible
life. And it shows us that the person is not polite enough. It just makes us think that the
person is bad. And it embarrasses herself or himself.
In my view people should not share their problem in social network. It is better for them to
write their feeling in a book which called diary or they just have to share it with their friends.
Because if they share their problems in social network, every people who is online will know
the bad side of them.
