The Uffe Elbaek Model

How to Get to Know Yourself

(adapted from The Decision Book: 50 Models for Strategic Thinking)

GLOBAL

FORM TEAM

BODY BRAIN

INDIVIDUAL CONTENT

LOCAL

Without taking time to think about it, decide the following on a scale of one to ten:
How much of a team person are you, and how much of an individualist? Do you pay more
attention to content or to form? What is more important to you: the body or the mind?
Do you feel more global than local? Use a pen to connect the dots.

Note: You only have 10 points to give on each axis—the sum of each axis must be 10 (e.g., if you
choose 2 on Global, then Local is 8).
