INFECTION
Tapeworm : Taeniasis/cysticercosis
people will get infected with T. solium eggs,
which exists in undercooked or infected
pork, due to poor hygiene.
Symptoms include severe headache,
blindness, convulsions, and epileptic
seizures, and can be fatal.
To prevent yourself from getting infected,
making sure that the pork is cooked and
improving the processing of the meat
product before you consume it are the best
way.
Virus : Coronavirus/covid-19
human will get infected because of the virus
from the bat transmitted to humans by
consuming, touching, or breathing.
Most common symptoms: fever, dry cough,
tiredness
Serious symptoms: difficulty breathing or
shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure,
loss of speech or movement.
Prevention: Wash your hands regularly with
soap and water, or alcohol-based, Maintain at
least 1 metre distance between you and
others, Avoid touching your face or public
facilities, Wearing a face mask, Stay home in
case you feel sick, avoiding unnecessary travel
and staying away from the crowded
Bacteria : cholera
it is caused by drinking water or consuming
food which is contaminated with bacteria.
Symptoms - severe watery diarrheas then
dehydration, Rapid heart rate, Loss of skin
elasticity, Low blood pressure, Thirst, and
Muscle cramps
Prevention : keep things as clean as possible
(boiling them would be a great way) , wash your
hands often, make sure that your food are
cooked properly

Nematode : hookworm
people who live in the country with poor
access to water, hygiene, and sanitation would
have a higher chance of getting infected.
Symptoms - itching and rash, loss of appetite
and weight, fatigue, it also causes huge impact
on children's growth and development.
Prevention -avoid contacting the soil directly,
especially where the hookworm is common.

materials from natural resources like canal as much as we can.*

1. Collect water near your place. No matter how dirty it is.


2. Cut the bottom of the bottle and make some holes and
the cap.
3. Put sand, little rock, charcoal, and big rocks in the bottle.
(separating layers in order to get cleaner water)
4. Pour your dirty water into the bottle. Your clean water
will come out from the holes that you made at the cap

1. Pour your filter water (which may still be salty)


into the pot.
2. Find some rock, put it into some glass and then
put it in the middle of the pot.
3. Close the pot and then boil it.
4. Make sure the lid is completely closed.
5. Wait until the lid is shaking, open it and you will
see the salt evaporate out of water.

Processes

The heat from the electrical bar at the bottom of the pot will
come out when we plug in the electricity. When it is opened,
the heat will pass through the charcoal in order to create a
smoke. Thus, food that we brought inside will be smoked
and cooked properly.

1. Drilling the bottom of the pot for attaching the electrical


bar.
2. Carefully setting up the bar and connecting the power
cable.
3. Making sure that the bar is set properly by plugging in
the electricity.
4. Cutting the grille into the proper size and shape then
putting it inside the smoker

Fever:
Take a piece of fabric
(Fabric in this case may be from your own
cloth)

Make fabric a little wet
Wipe your body (to decrease fever)

Broken bone:
Stop any bleeding
Apply pressure on the wound with clean fabric
Don’t try to move
If you have something cold, wrap it with towel and
compress your wound
Lay down (If you are in much pain, elevate the
legs/arm you got injured)

muscle strain:
Move as little as you can
Wrap your leg/arm with bandage/towel/fabric
Compress something hot/cold

Laceration:
Stop any bleeding
Clean your wound with clean fabric
Use fabric/towel compress your wound
