Indigenous people

The Degar

The Degar are an indigenous people. They are from of the highlands of Vietnam. The weather
is very cold but in the summer, the sun warms up. The Degar grow their own food, they usually
grow rice, their diet is based on the consumption of rice and other vegetables, they also
consume food from their own livestock.

The Tuareg

The Tuareg are an indigenous people . They are nomads of the Sahara desert but their
population extends through Algeria, Burkina Faso, Nigeria and Libya. The weather is very hot.
Their diet is meat from the animals in the mountain.

The Yanomami

The Yanomami are an indigenous people. They are from Venezuela and Brazil. The weather is
tropical and hot. They supplement their crop of plantains, cassava, tubers, corn (maize), and
other vegetables with gathered fruits, nuts, seeds, grubs, and honey. They hunt monkeys,
deer, tapirs, fowl, and armadillos.
