Background Information 
About the Company​- Night market that includes; foods, 
drinks, clothes, and others. The company has two 
branches, one at Nonthaburi and another one at Pathum 
Thani. The first branches of the market have been open 
for three to four years now. 
Location​- 14/87 Bypass Road, Bang Kraso, Mueang 
Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi 11000

Work log 
6/03/2020 
 
On the first day, we went to meet with the company 
owner, to discuss and explain to the owner what we will 
do in their company. We spend 4 hours meeting and 
touring their company. The owner forwards us to their

7/03/2020 
 

This is Grace’s first day doing an internship. The 

manager decided to let me tear a fax paper to print out 
the next day. They let me tear on hole box which takes 
me about an hour or two. After I finished they let me 
sell the electric tickets. In this market, every store 
will have a card to pay the electricity that they use. 
So, they need to put their money in before using. I 
think they have very high technology. After that they 
have a meeting about how they can still engage 
customers while facing with the Covid-19. I give an 
opinion that you can post on the web-page that they are 
using Antiseptic Solutions everyday to make their 
customers know that they also care for their customers.

On this day, we went to the market in the daytime. 
The company asked us to join which made the boys 
participate in the Owl night market company and the 
Network Company meeting. At the same time, Grace was 
printing out the tickets for selling to the merchants. 
The meeting was about installing the Network Antenna in 
the area near the Owl night market, which will make us 
gain more knowledge about the internet wave. We had 
known that the network would be working 500 meters away 
from the network antenna.

 On this day, we went to work on night time, which 
we will gain more experience on day time because most 
of the work in the market was starting on night time. 
The company asks the boys to go separately with each 
worker, to see how they check the merchants that are 
coming to open their store or not, if not the market 
will charge them, and if they are open they will get 
signatures from the workers. Grace stayed at the office 
stamping and counting the tickets for selling to the

Reflection 
Night Owl Market is the most popular market in 
Nonthaburi, it makes us interested to know how they 
manage the market to be so popular. We also think that 
in the market, there are a lot of foods provided, it is 
easy for us to find foods to eat and it will not affect 
the work time, when we get lunch and dinner. Also this 
market attracts a lot of people to come and visit. We 
want to know the strategies and the way they are doing 
it. In March, the month that we went to the market, it 
was the time that Covid-19 big spread around Thailand, 
so it made us risk getting infected. We have to wear a 
mask and wash our hands everytime we go inside the 
market, which will help protect us from being infected. 
The time of doing internship was night time, which was 
the time that had traffic jams around Nonthaburi. This 
affected us to be on time. We have to prepare the time 
for the traffic jams, which we have to come early 
before working time. Also, the work was in night time 
or after school, which affected our time for studying 
for tests and time for doing our homework, so we have 
to stay until late night to do our homeworks and study 
for tests, which will make us sleepy in school time.

What we learned after doing an internship? 
After we do the internship, we know that they 
organized their market very well. They seperate the 
zone, each zone will have a different category. For 
example, Zone A is a permanent shop, Zone B is a store 
that buys the lock for one month, Zone C is for one 
week. They use the different color of tickets to 
separate each zone and they will walk around each lock 
and collect the tickets everyday, week, or month 
depending on the Zone that they choose. Moreover, each 
store needs to purchase the electricity that they use 
on their own.
