"Hi, my name is Leila.

I am currently in Grade 10 and I've been learning from
home since March 2020. At first, I was so excited to be
at home and have a break from school. I spent time
learning to bake and watching Netflix, but now, I have
to say I really miss it! I miss seeing my friends,
meeting them for lunch and talking to my teachers
face to face. I prefer being in a classroom than
learning online, I feel like I haven't learnt a lot and I'm
finding it hard to concentrate and I'm worried about
my future exam results. I am really looking forward to
going back to school and cannot wait for lockdown
to end"

"Hello, my name is Daniel, I'm in Grade 9 and I go to

an international school. Every morning I sign into
online lessons about 9 o'clock and finish about 1
o'clock, I like the shorter day. I have really enjoyed
learning online during lockdown. I feel like I have
learnt so much more without being distracted by my
classmates and my parents have noticed an
improvement too, they like distance learning. I've
heard of some great options for online schooling
and I'm thinking that works better for me than being
in a school building. I'm enjoying lockdown and don't
really want to go back to school how it was before!"
