LICON MANUFACTURING PLC., Ethiopia was incorporated
in 2009 as a subsidiary company of CONMIX Ltd. – Sharjah, Unit-
ed Arab Emirates. LICON is a Joint Venture between CONMIX
Ltd. and LICA Industries PLC.
CONMIX Ltd. is a reputable manufacturer of Ready Mix Concrete,

Pre Mix Plaster, Construction Chemicals and Water Treatment in
the United Arab Emirates. LICA Industries PLC are importers and
traders of various construction materials and were the
authorised agents in Ethiopia for CONMIX products. LICA had
been promoting CONMIX products successfully in Ethiopia for
more than a decade by direct imports from UAE prior to setting
up of the local manufacturing unit. Backed by the knowledge
of local market conditions, there was confidence of a profitable
outcome in setting up of LICON for fulfilling the demands of the
regional market.
LICON manufacturing facility situated in Addis Ababa consists

of a dry mortar and construction chemical plant with a capacity
of 100 tonnes per day, an admixture blending unit and a fully
equipped laboratory. LICON is presently operating successfully
by manufacturing and supplying select product ranges of Pre Mix
Plasters and Construction Chemicals which are specific to the
local/regional requirement under the CONMIX brand name.
LICON follows the same quality management policy as that of

CONMIX making it reliable in terms of high standards of quality
in design, development, process, product and service. CONMIX
products have become a successful part of various prestigious
projects in Ethiopia under various segments - commercial,
industrial, infrastructure, residential, government, health and
education.

5°C. Do not flood too much of water on the applied surface for initial 4-5 days.

minimum thickness of 1 mm per coat. After 2-6 hours, apply the second coat in
perpendicular direction to the first coat. The second coat can be finished by rubbing
down with a soft sponge. Spray or trowel application is acceptable provided the mixing
ratio is adjusted to achieve the right consistency. It is recommended that for application
over hollow blocks or highly porous areas, a minimum of 3 coats to total thickness of 3
mm be applied.
