Verify the field position of the valve without

3 Instrument Air. It must remain CLOSED
Connect IA but keep solenoid valve de-
4 energized. It must be CLOSED
Connect IA but keep solenoid valve de-
5 energized. It must be CLOSED

Verify valve close feedback from the

relevant limit switch is corresponding to
“close” in the
6 HMI (BMS/BPCS/SIS/ESD)

Energize the solenoid valve and verify that

7 the valve is smoothly OPENING

Verify valve open feedback from the

relevant limit switch is corresponding to
“open” in the
8 HMI (BMS/BPCS/SIS/ESD/….).

With solenoid valve energized remove IA

and check that on-off valve returns in closed
9 position.

Connect again IA and de-energize solenoid

valve: check that on-off valve returns in
closed
10 position
