NA.2 Nationally Determined Parameters

NA.2.1 Values for partial factors for actions, γind and γF,fat [BS EN 1992-4:2018, 4.4.1(2)]
The recommended values of γind and γF,fat should be used.

NA.2.2 Values for partial factors for resistance (static, quasi static, accidental and
seismic loading) [BS EN 1992-4:2018, 4.4.2.2(2)]
The values recommended in BS EN 1992-4:2018, Table 4.1, should be used.

NA.2.3 Values for partial factors for resistance, γMs,fat, γMc,fat, γMsp,fat and γMp,fat
(fatigue loading) [BS EN 1992-4:2018, 4.4.2.3]
The recommended values of γMs,fat, γMc,fat, γMsp,fat and γMp,fat should be used.

NA.2.4 Value for partial factor for serviceability limit state, γM [BS EN 1992-4:2018, 4.4.2.4]
The recommended value of γM should be used.

NA.2.5 Value of admissible tensile stress for the definition of uncracked concrete, σadm
[BS EN 1992-4:2018, 4.7(2)]
The recommended value of σadm should be used.

Formula (4.24), to determine the horizontal seismic action effects of seismic action on non-structural
elements.

NA.2.8 Determination of vertical seismic action effects on non-structural elements

[BS EN 1992-4:2018, C.4.4(3)]
BS EN 1992-4:2018, Formula (C.5), should be used to determine the vertical seismic action effects on
non-structural elements.
