and country planning, settlement structure, Spatial development policy.

The city that I live in, "boufarik", faces a considerable amount of issues and obstacles when it
comes to it's territorial planning, these issues are thought-provoking as they’re profoundly
challenging! they include problematic town/country planning that entails fractured roads,
chapped, unfinished buildings and several broken sidewalks that are currently being fixed by
bricklayers, these big issues are faced by us everyday, other obstacles include the unregulated
disorganized settlement planning in which most of our buildings and settlements are spread
out in an incorrect manner across the field of building, there's also the Urban Sprawl issue
characterized by low-density resident housing and increased reliance on private vehicles for
transportation which causes problems like increased energy use, pollution, the destruction of
natural wild life habitats and traffic congestion. Our spatial development policy also faces
major challenges like economic development, demographic changes and population growth .

Activity 2: (12 pts)

According to you what should be done to solve urban and rural planning problems? Write
your essay in about 15 lines. Use: the present simple, passive and active voice, adjectives,
Administrative level, Governmental level, Landscape planning, Public-private partnership.

there are many ways and methods that we can apply in order to successfully eradicate the
various urban and rural planning problems that are faced by us every single day, if a single
individual embraces these issues and understands them correctly then it's gonna lead to a long
way of victories and it all starts with addressing those issues to the administrative level first
and governmental level second in which we should be able to express the solution of the root
rural and urban problems that we are dealing with like fixing the rural issues by providing
education, public health and sanitation, women empowerment, progressive infrastructure
development, facilities for agricultural extension and research and finally employment
opportunity for the people who face many grueling and cruel conditions of living in the rural
areas, when it comes to urban problems and issues the solutions can be found in the urban
fields themselves. These solutions include combating poverty by promoting economic
development and job creation, encouraging the involvement of local communities in the local
government, reducing air pollution by upgrading energy use and alternative transport
systems, creating private-public partnerships to provide services such as waste disposal and
housing, planting trees and incorporating the care of city green spaces as a big priority.
